Shrimp Teriyaki Low Carb Pasta

Ingredients:

1lb of Shrimp
8 tsps Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce
1 bag Shirataki Shaped Spaghetti ( Zero Spaghetti )
1 stick of Butter
3 tbsps Minced Garlic
Seafood Seasoning or Salt and Pepper ( optional )

- Pan
- Fork and Spoon
Step 1
First we're going to start with the Shirataki Pasta, Simply pour the pasta in a bowl and run water over it for a few mins. This will help get rid of the earthy smell that naturally comes with Shirataki noodles. After the pasta is rinsed you can then add it to a pot and begin boiling it.
You'll notice the noodles create a little froth, that's normal.
Step 2
Now, lets move on to our shrimp. We're going to start by adding the butter and minced garlic in the pan. Then we're going to add our shrimp to the pan.

Allow the butter to melt and soak up the minced garlic for a few minutes before adding shrimp.
Step 3
Once your shrimp is in the pan you can add seafood seasoning or salt and pepper to taste. I personally like to add a combination of seasoned salt, garlic salt, black pepper, and a little of my steak and chop seasoning. I add a bit more minced garlic as well. Make you sure stir consistently to make ensure that the shrimp are thoroughly cooked.
Add your seasoned shrimp to the pan with your garlic and butter.
Step 4
Back to the pasta, it should boil for approximately 10 mins, then remove it from the heat. You want to make sure that your shrimp are practically done, then add your pasta to the butter and shrimp combination. Allow the noodles to " pan fry" with the shrimp for approximately 5 mins
I believe this gives the noodles a more natural texture as their hardened a little on the outside and their a lot less chewy..
Mix your pasta and shrimp once the shrimp starts to turn pink.
Step 5
Once you have all your ingredients in one pot, its time to add the teriyaki sauce. Stir the teriyaki sauce in with the shrimp and pasta. Allow to simmer in sauce for approximately 5 - 10 minutes.
The addition of your teriyaki sauce will help create a broth.
This help the flavor penetrate into the shrimp and pasta, and make sure it absorbs enough flavor to taste.
Step 6
Enjoy! Serve it while its hot!
